Where to find food trucks in Melbourne

When the street food craving hits, there’s no turning back. Whether you’re craving aromatic Asian eats or cheesy burgers, here are all the best places to find your favourite food on four wheels.

Federation Square

Hop off at Flinders Street station and you’re bound to see a steady queue of food-loving Melburnians around Federation Square. A favourite spot for food truck names, including Mr Burger and Taco Truck. The Food Truck Station serves a great variety of street food.

St Kilda Road

With a line-up of food trucks promised by March 2017, the NGV International and Arts Centre Melbourne will be busier than ever. Potential candidates include big names like Soul Kitchen and The Brûlée Cart for hungry visitors.

Queen Victoria Market

Head to the Queen Victoria Market for hard-to-find food trucks including Greek Street Food, Mussel Pot and The St Kilda Burger Bar food truck. Eat your way through one of Melbourne’s most eclectic ranges of food, and keep an eye out for special food truck events throughout the year.

Along Flinders Street near the Yarra River

Not one, not two, but three deliciously food-filled sites along Flinders Street will become home to a permanent and rotating selection of food trucks in 2017. Some will become permanent fixtures while others will rotate monthly. Our advice, skip the lunch prep in 2017. Why cook when you can eat like this?

If all else fails

Follow your favourite food truck on social media to keep up to date with their latest location.
