Delight in our city’s annual celebration of modern men by attending this full day of free programs and exhibitions on Saturday 28 May.

Join a series of panel discussions hosted by Steve Colquohon, editor of The Age’s Executive Style. The theme is Martin Scorsese—his life, films and influence on masculinity and men’s style.

  • 12pm: Scorsese – A curated look at the great man
    With curators of the upcoming ACMI exhibition, Scorsese
  • 2pm: Scorsese, Style and Masculinity
    With James Nolen, ACMI programme director; Josh Nelson, author, curriculum specialist, education consultant; Dom Bagnato, tailor, fashion designer; Nick Bracks, entrepreneur, model, mental health advocate, Festival of Steve ambassador
  • 4pm: The Rise of Men’s Style

Local breweries and distilleries will showcase their mastery by offering tastings of locally produced whisky, craft beer, wine and gin:

  • 11am: Official festival opening with Nick Bracks and Candy Hertz
  • 1pm: Whisky masterclass with Starward
  • 3pm: Pool tournament with world champion Robbie Foldvari
  • 5pm: Gin masterclass with Sinkonah
  • Throughout the day sample Chrismont Wines, Sticks Yarra Valley and Kaiju craft beer
