It’s a night that’s guaranteed to make you forget about the chill. Wednesdays to Saturdays until 24 June.

Eau de Vie‘s highly anticipated Appreciation Society nights will also continue throughout winter. Each month has a different theme and includes generous tastings, information and demonstrations. June will see absinthe debunked, July’s theme is chocolate and whiskey while August focuses on Australian whiskey.

The Botanical Wine Bar Wednesdays

Make a regular date for winter Wednesdays at Botanical HotelIn collaboration with Winestyle, enjoy wine tastings, meet-and-greets and special ‘by the glass’ prices from 5:30 to 7:30pm in the main bar. Their popular live jazz on Wednesday also continues throughout the season.

Nordic Gin cocktail class

Learn how to create sophisticated gin cocktails at home at Henry and the Fox’s Nordic Gin cocktail class. Bartender Rion Heenan will join cocktail guru Joey Tai from specialist liquor importer Baranows Emporium to arm you with tips and tricks. The ticket price includes a complimentary Kyrö Gin and canapés. Saturday 10 June.

Milk the Cow

Looking for more blue-tiful ways to gorge on cheese this winter? Head to one of the Alpine-themed fondue nights Milk the Cow on Tuesday 13 or Thursday 22 June. Along with a freshly made, stringy fondue pot, taste through European cheese and enjoy a hot Glühwein (mulled wine). Other winter events include the fromagerie’s popular ‘Perfect Match’ wine-and-cheese matched tastings as well as expert-led wine nights.

If coffee is your favourite poison, head to the Vertue of the Coffee Drink. Marrying quality coffee with Melbourne-brunch standards, the team host weekly coffee cupping sessions. Join them for a bean to cup education on the process of coffee making. Guest will also learn how to cup coffee and how to identify coffee flavour notes. Wednesdays from 10am.
