First Nations Culture for Kids
Take part in a very special Wurundjeri Cultural education workshop for kids, with a choice of three sessions.
Waa (crow) – Monday 27 May, 10am to 11am.
Take a look at Aboriginal artifacts, play with Marngrook (possum skin ball), and paint your own boomerang.
For 2 year olds.
Bunjil (eagle) – Wednesday 29 May, midday to 1pm.
Immerse yourself in the learning of the Wurundjeri People through storytelling, Dreamtime stories, language, song and dance. Use your newfound knowledge to make your own boomerang.
For 4 year olds.
Woi-wurrung Language – Friday 31 May, midday to 1pm.
At this woi-wurrung language session learn greetings, numbers, animals and body parts.
For children aged 4+.
These workshops are presented by Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation.
